A national NGO is seeking qualified candidate to fill the following vacancy to work in camps & other sites in Jordan
Project Manager
  • Assist the Project management Section Head in the planning and defining the scope of the project including goals, deliverables and KPIs.
  • Create and implement detailed work plans, log frames, procurement plan and risk management plan needed to successfully compete the project.
  • Assist in the identification, planning, managing and allocation of project resources (staff, budget, resources, equipment, etc.)
  • Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the donor and the field staff.
  • Lead and manage the project team and provide support when needed.
  • Responsible for submitting activity reports, technical narrative reports and track deliverables on regular basis to the donor & to the Project Management Section Head.
  • Work closely with the finance officer to prepare and submission of annual activity-based project budgets as well as monthly and quarterly financial reports and budget reallocation/revision upon the need.
  • Ensures close collaboration and coordination with partners in project locations to guarantee smooth implementation of activities and achievements of results as specified in grant agreements.
  • Manage change and take corrective actions when necessary to meet project's deliverables.
  • Participates in all meetings including technical sub working groups, SGBV, GBVIMS, SRH, youth and other related working groups.
  • Build and sustain effective communication with stakeholders; local authorities, ministries and international organizations.
  • Ensure close collaboration and coordination with operation department (finance, MEAL, procurement, training, quality etc…)
Requirements: University degree in management, medicine, human rights, social studies or any related field, At least 5 years of proven professional experience as a project manager preferably in the area of SRH and SGBV, Professional experience in the development and humanitarian context, preferably in emergency settings, PMP Training or Certification, Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic, additional languages are an asset.
