Airport Company is seeking to recruit in the following positions
Engineering and Planning Manager
Main objective for the role:
Managing Airport civil engineering projects, designs, constructions and major renovation projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare project designs, cost estimates, specifications and manage projects schedules in consultation with consultant and project manager.
- Administer contracts and confers with consultants, engineers, architects and construction contractors.
- Participate in writing requests for proposal and contract specifications for design and construction services, participate in the selection of contractors and administer professional service contracts.
- Provide technical oversight, inspect work in progress and ensure that all work complies with contract specifications and applicable codes and standards.
- Maintain liaison with various airport, utility, governmental agencies and ensure that codes and standards are met in assigned projects.
- Coordinate and provide technical oversight to staff performing design and remodeling projects, provide supervision to staff including work assignment, evaluate and participate in disciplinary procedures
- Monitor developments in equipment, materials and techniques in the civil engineering design and construction field,
- Develop alternate plans in the event of unforeseen contingencies such as work stoppages, material shortages, material rejections, new priorities and related adjustments in consultation with project consultant
- Ensure effective communication internally and with all stakeholders, external authorities, consultants and project manager
- Confer with consultants and contractors regarding physical facility project requirements, including cost estimates and related matters.
- Review and authorize requests for payment and change orders, track and document project and program costs.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare a variety of periodic and special reports.
- Confer with maintenance staff and recommend solutions to facility design, maintenance and operational problems.
Qualifications/Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in diversified fields of civil engineering having 3 years’ experience in Airport engineering design and Airport renovation projects.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Very good knowledge of airport standards, ICAO, IATA, SARPs and aviation regulations.
- Leadership & People management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command in English (reading/writing and speaking)
- Time management.
Head of Technical Section
Main objective for the role:
Responsible of maintenance and repairs of Cargo Screening X-Ray Inspection machines such as. Smith’s Heimann,Mobile X-Ray Inspection System (Scan Mobile), HCV-Mobile, HCV-Gantry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventive, predictive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of X-Ray Inspection Machines Manufactures such as Smiths Heimann
- Oversee the Installation, calibration and maintenance of the X-Ray equipment.
- Record all maintenance and spare parts and prepare purchase request for required security devices or other electronic devices according to the internal purchasing procedures.
- In-charge of Technicians and service engineer’s performance improvement.
- Ensure that the safety the site, users, and equipment are in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct technical training for Security System users such as the Security and Protection Unit and other relevant parties at the cargo inspection center
- Prepare shift-staff schedules in proper manner.
- Report IT technical problems related to data-center hardware maintenance, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and any other networking issue to JAC Information Technology division.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to be submitted to the direct supervisor.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications/Experiences
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or any related Engineering.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the installation and maintenance of Security equipment and power systems and supervisory level.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge in Cargo Inspection Standards.
- Good knowledge in Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA).
- Good knowledge in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC Programming).
- Leadership & People management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent command in English (reading/writing and speaking).
- Time management.
Electro Mechanical Engineer
Main objective for the role:
Responsible of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of operating problems and provide required electromechanical maintenance to insure that machines are properly operating.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect the electromechanical systems in the airport periodically and ensure preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- Diagnose and ensure the repair of malfunctions of electrical circuits and automation systems.
- Maintain airfield lighting system to ICAO standards and its daily inspection and calibration.
- Assist in the process of preparing tender documents and selecting vendors.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out while taking into account the safety standards and ICAO regulations.
- Maintain records on most frequent maintenance issues and the adopted solutions for future reference and prepare monthly reports on the progress of the assigned tasks.
- Perform any related tasks as requested by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications/Experiences
- Bachelor degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical or any related Engineering.
- 2 Years’ experience in similar field.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of principles of HVAC systems.
- General knowledge in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC Programming).
- Good command in English (reading/writing and speaking).
Civil /Architectural Engineer
Main objective for the role:
Contribute in designing process, engineering documents and provide engineering service and support to performing basic tasks in support systems, programs and projects. Evaluate architectural plans for design, feasibility and adherence of codes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings and models.
- Contribute in preparing bids for tenders and technical feasibility studies.
- Assist in monitoring the site work and prepare status reports for the Manager.
- Prepare scaled drawings with computer software AutoCAD and by hand.
- Co-ordinate with other concerned professionals like surveyors or contractors, etc.
Qualifications/Experiences
- Bachelor degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Year experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of principles of structural design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good command in English (reading/writing and speaking).
