Required to Hire
System Administrator
Tasks:
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Maintaining computer systems and networks
- Coordinate with the staff or clients through a series of actions to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Replacing parts as required
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs Support LANs, WANs, network, Internet systems.
- Maintenance system efficiency.
- Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users.
- Make recommendations for future upgrades.
- Maintain network and system security.
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
- Evaluate and modify system's performance.
- Identify user needs.
- Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of system accounting.
- Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of work computers as well as printers.
- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates.
Conditions
- BSc. Computer Information System
- 5 years’ experience in IT technical support and maintenance
- Certificate in MCTP ( Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is advantage
- Certificate in CCNA (Cisco Certified System, Associate) is advantage
- Certificate in MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solution Export) is advantage
