A leading laboratories supplies company based in Amman is looking to recruit a Service Biomedical Engineer.
Qualifications
Diploma or bachelor degree in Medical or Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment
- Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
Job Requirements
- 1-4 year Biomedical service experience in the field of laboratory equipment
- Your own transportation
Skills & Qualifications
Diagnostic skills – biomedical field service engineer needs the ability to diagnose problems on complex medical and lab instruments
Repair and troubleshooting skills – having the ability to repair and maintain medical laboratory equipment with little supervision is essential. Biomedical field service engineers also need to be able to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively over the phone and on-site
Project management skills – field engineer must have strong project management skills to assist with multiple duties including service calls, installation, coordination, and scheduling
Computer skills – using computer skills and working with technology to fix malfunctioning electrical equipment is essential.
Communication skills – biomedical field service engineers often act as an adviser to other clinical, administrative, and technical staff members, and therefore need to communicate complex information
